Back to BLOG Written on 22-Feb-2008 by BarbaraLassiterPhew! What a busy morning!
About 10 or 12 people, or it could have been more, I didn't count, turned up to help set up the stage and auditorium at 10 o'clock this morning. First of all the stage had to be laid, which consisted of felt underlay, pallets then board. After which all the tables and chairs were brought out and set up. Balloons had to blown up, tables laid, cutlery laid out, and the top table prepared and decorated. The lights also had to be set up and all of this during one of the hottest days we have experienced for quite a while. By 1pm most of it had been done and the ladies from the Wonglepong CWA had turned up to prepare the meals for this evening.
I took a few photos on the way and they can be seen on the Gallery page. This one is showing the Wedding Table.
